Meridian is an *employee-owned*, multi-disciplinary company that has been providing therapy services for over twenty years with sites in Penticton, Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops, Vancouver and Galway, Ireland. *Position Summary:* We are currently looking for Speech Language Pathologists to join our team in *Kamloops* and *Vernon*. As a community private practice Speech Language Pathologist with Meridian Rehabilitation, you will work clients in a variety of clinical areas (e.g., phonology, articulation, language, fluency, literacy, social communication, and more) to maximize their communication abilities and enhance their quality of life. The current openings would involve primarily pediatric caseloads with the opportunity to also treat some adults. *New Graduates Welcome: *We understand that starting your career as a new graduate can be both exciting and overwhelming. We offer a thorough three-month training program to ensure you are fully prepared and confident in your role. Following the training period, you will continue to have support from mentors and leaders as well as paid time to continue to develop your skills and thrive in community private practice. *Key Responsibilities:* * Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for clients of all ages. * Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients? goals and funder?s parameters. * Implement one to one or group therapeutic interventions in clinic, homes, and community focusing on a variety of clinical areas including phonology, articulation, fluency, cognitive communication, social communication, executive functioning, literacy, AAC, and language development.
