*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will work closely with clients of all ages (based on your preferences), providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, literacy, and communication disorders. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing challenges in communication and swallowing. *Responsibilities* * Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders. * Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals. * Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing function. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and case managers to ensure holistic patient care. * Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding communication strategies and therapy progress. * Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. * Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development. *Requirements* * Master?s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. * Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist with CHCPBC. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech and language disorders. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. * Strong case management skills to coordinate care across various healthcare providers.
