The Government of British Columbia has provided $11.3M to the Greater Victoria Housing Society through the Rental Protection Fund. The funds will go towards the acquisition of 68 rental units that will be made available at affordable rates. As part of the acquisition, the two buildings will undergo upgrades to improve their energy efficiency.
