The Saskatchewan government is providing over $2M towards designing and constructing five water projects in the province through the Water Security Agency. The projects will strengthen existing infrastructure to improve public safety in areas from Lafleche to Cypress Hills. The projects are expected to begin in 2024-2025.

The City of Swift Current recently announced a sidewalk project to replace concrete, paving stone, streetlights, tree wells, and street furniture. Work has begun and will be completed in about four weeks.
Heartland Hospice is constructing a new hospice wing at the Pioneer Lodge in Moose Jaw. Construction began on May 6, 2024 and will be completed around December 2024.

The Government of Saskatchewan is providing $5.4M to the Town of Gull Lake. The funding will go towards paving and improving water drainage along Highway 37.
The City of Swift Current recently awarded LMO Landscaping a $249K contract to construct a pair of retaining walls for the Chinook Parkway expansion project. There is currently no start date for work, however the project is scheduled for completion by late summer or early fall 2024.
The City of Swift Current recently awarded United Paving Ltd. with a $415K pavement maintenance contract. The maintenance will address paving failures, deficiencies, and freeze-thaw spring damages. Depending on the weather, work will either begin in late April 2024 or early May 2024.
