<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Assisting the Territory Manager and District Leaders with the delivery of seed orders throughout the spring season:</strong></p><p>? Working with the territory managers and reps to schedule drop-offs and pick-ups of seed through their territory</p><p>? Interacting with customers to ensure they have a pleasant experience while receiving their seed</p><p>? Ensuring all paperwork is signed and completed upon delivery</p><p>? Must be willing to work outdoors in various environments, be willing to work additional hours/Saturdays during peak periods, and work well with others in a team setting.</p><p>? Requires frequent travel with occasional overnight stays</p><p>? Self-motivated and willing to work independently most of the time with minimal supervision.</p><p>? Individuals must display a high degree of self-motivation and integrity</p><p>? Agricultural experience beneficial</p><p>? No Degree required</p><p> </p><p><strong>Additional Information: </strong></p><p>? <strong>Weekly Schedule: </strong>Variable throughout the course of the contract. Candidate must be flexible. (eg. Spring/fall seasons 40+ hrs/wk, if necessary, Summer season 20hrs/wk as required)</p><p>? <strong>Shift:</strong> typically 8am - 5pm (flexibility to work outside of these hours within driver regulations as needed). May need to start at 6AM some days and end earlier in the day.</p><p>? Any specific skills, requirements or experience you want in a candidate: Driver - prefer D-Z (not mandatory), Required G License minimum, previous experience hauling with trailers.</p><p>? Customer focus attitude, attention to detail</p><p>? Ability to lift 50lbs or more</p><p>? Comfortable Working outdoors</p><p>? Driving? Yes - You will be driving alone. Driving a f350 and a 16 foot cargo trailer to move the seed.</p><p>? Driving Category: Frequent - Candidate with a DZ license preferred.</p><p>? Travel: Most of the time is driving and moving seed. Some plot work in the field (planting & harvesting in spring/fall). Spring: 90% Driving/10% Field; then in Fall: 90% Field work & 10% Driving</p><p>? Assist with Customer Events, As needed (Set up & Tear Down)</p><p>? Exposure to common allergens- Insects/Bees, Plants/Pollen, Chemicals, Latex possible</p><p>? Geography - Territory will primarily cover Ottawa West to Belleville - Would be helpful if candidate was central within this area.
