Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Tasks: Advise clients on beauty care treatments. Analyze hair and scalp condition. Book appointments. Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Provide custom hair and scalp treatment. Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Barbering Trade Certification. Screening questions: Are you currently a student?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Financial benefits: Bonus. Commission. Gratuities.
