*Job Posting: Registered Care Aide at CityMed Pharmacy* *Location:* Surrey/White Rock BC *About Us:* CityMed Pharmacy is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services in our community. We are expanding our Home Monitoring Program and are seeking a caring and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team! *Position Overview:* As a Registered Care Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently in their homes. Your primary focus will be on medication administration and monitoring patient health, ensuring our clients receive the care they need. *Key Responsibilities:* * Visit patients in their homes within the community. * Administer medications (orally, creams, patches). * Conduct patient-specific assessments (e.g., blood glucose and blood pressure monitoring). * Analyze assessment data to adjust medications as needed. * Respond to acute situations following company protocols. * Monitor behavioral changes, particularly for mental health patients. * Document all interventions and assessment data accurately. * Submit daily reports to the Manager and pharmacies. * Follow up with the Manager on significant assessment findings. * Actively participate in improving patients? healthcare outcomes. * Note: This role does not involve personal care or assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and there are no overnight shifts. *Qualifications:* We are looking for Registered Care Aides who are: * Highly motivated with a strong work ethic. * Compassionate and friendly, with excellent customer service skills. * Effective communicators and leaders. * Able to work independently in a self-driven environment. * Enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the community. *Position Requirements:* * Valid Driver's License. * Care Aide License. * Successful candidates will undergo a Criminal Record Check. *Schedule:* * Morning and evening shifts available. * Flexible shifts: Monday through Sunday. *Experience:* * Minimum of 1 year as a Care Aide preferred. *Compensation:* * Pay starts at $21.00 per hour. * Additional pay includes bonus opportunities and overtime. *Benefits:* * PPE provided consistently, with training on sanitation procedures for patient visits. * Paid Mileage *Application Process:* Please share your work availability when applying. *Join Us:* If you are ready to make a difference in our community and have the required qualifications, we invite you to apply to join the CityMed Pharmacy team! *Job Types:* Full-time, Part-time *Work Location:* In person We look forward to your application!
