Looking for an enthusiastic *Communicative Disorders Assistant/ Speech-Language Pathology Assistant *to join a small and growing private practice. Currently hiring in *Thornhill!* Looking for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to fill a casual position. This is an *independent contractor position. *The chosen candidate will be working with *preschool and school-aged children* providing *services in our clinic. *We are primarily looking for someone to join our team on *Saturdays*. *Responsibilities* * Providing evidence-based assessment and therapy to a pediatric caseload * Directly supporting clients with speech and language delays and difficulties * Interventions are one-on-one with focus on evidence-based practice * Using SMART Goals * Working independently to make your own schedule and determine frequency of visits. *Qualifications* * Excellent intervention skills * Proof of professional liability insurance * Vulnerable Sector Check * Over 1 year of experience working with children preferred * Experience with children with developmental delays and disabilities * Experience providing naturalistic and behavioural intervention We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only qualified candidates will be contacted.
