Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Chronic or long-term care facilities/centres. Tasks: Assess patients' physical abilities. Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Help physical therapists. Set up and dismantle equipment. Administer evaluative tests and procedures. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Maintain supplies. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas. Process files and paperwork. Schedule and confirm appointments. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Area of specialization: Physiotherapy. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
