As a member of the Maintenance team the *Millwright *is responsible for safely and effectively repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment and building. *You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:* * Trouble shooting/repairs/installations of processing and packaging equipment with a working knowledge of electrical to allow efficient repair/replacement results. * Perform regular Work Orders and account for inventory and labour on a computerized maintenance program- SAP. * Mechanical knowledge of power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics & electronics. * Be able to read and understand Mechanical and Electrical drawings/schematics. * Machining and fabricating for equipment repairs and/or upgrades. * Sanitary TIG welding of process lines & equipment. * Understand and adhere to all plant Food/Health and Safety Policies and Good Manufacturing Practices. *To succeed in this role:* * A valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright certificate is required. * A valid 4th Class Power Engineering certificate is an asset. * Shop experience in a manufacturing environment. * Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic packaging equipment. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment. * Good organizational, time management and communication skills. * Aware of workplace safety regulations. * Overtime due to breakdowns and schedule maintenance or projects may be required. *What we can offer:* * Starting wage: $39.76 per hour plus off shift premiums 0 - 6 months * $42.48 per hour plus off shift premiums 7 - 12 months * After one-year, hourly wage increases to $43.84 per hour * Overtime opportunities * Advancement opportunities * Be part of a diverse and inclusive team *Why Join Our Team?* Lactalis Canada is part of Lactalis Groupe which is the world?s #1 dairy group.
