The Burnaby School District is seeking an Education Assistant to work at the BC School for the Deaf (BCSD). <p>Education Assistants are responsible for providing support in the classroom, around the school, and within the community. Specifically, assistance is provided in the following:<p>? Behaviour management<p>? Curriculum implementation<p>? Social skills development<p>? Personal care<p>? Physical assistance<p>To be considered, candidates must have the following:<p>Required Qualifications: <p>? Successful completion of a recognized program in special needs assistance;<p>? One (1) year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of training and/or<p>experience.<p>?
