Canary Biofuels is spending $18M to quadruple biofuel production at its Lethbridge area plant, and is receiving $1.7M in tax credits through a provincial agri-processing investment program. The expansion is expected to create 15 temporary and 40 permanent jobs at the plant, which converts agricultural byproducts such as grains and meat into low-emission fuel.
