*Job Description*: As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement for our grocery chain. Your primary focus will be on sourcing and procuring products from various suppliers while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality control, and timely delivery. You will work closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts and maintain the terms of the company, analyze market trends, collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize inventory management and meet business objectives, understand border regulations and logistics, reduce costs by understanding supply chain processes and overall impact, negotiate return policies, proper departmental reporting. *Responsibilities:* * 1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company terms, goals and objectives. * 2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships under chain?s terms and conditions. * 3. Monitor market trends, analyze pricing and quality, and identify opportunities for cost savings. * 4. Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure stock availability while minimizing waste. * 5. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to stores. * 6. Be an integral part of a team of purchasing professionals, providing knowledge, team-spirit, and effective performance. * 7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical practices. * 8. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues or concerns. * 9. Stay informed about industry developments, technological advancements, and best practices in purchasing. *Qualifications:* * - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * - Proven experience (minimum 1 year) as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the grocery or retail industry. * - Extensive experience in contracts negotiation/conclusion with food and household chemicals suppliers under the terms and conditions of the company. * - Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management. * - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions. * - Strong in computer skills, inventory management systems and software. * - Strong communication and negotiation skills, both spoken and written, for effective cooperation with all levels of the company and/or external stakeholders. * - Understanding concepts and theories of integrated supply chain and logistics. * - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the grocery sector. * - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines. * - Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including firm positions during negotiations and/or conflict resolution. * - Ability to establish and effectively maintain long-standing partnerships with key suppliers and/or business partners. * - Knowledge of Russian language is mandatory.
