Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Help pharmacists. Maintain prescription records . Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Perform general clerical duties. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Order supplies and equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus.
