Position available for a part-time /full-time pharmacy assistant Previous recent pharmacy experience is required. Must be comfortable with inputting and processing prescriptions and billing to insurances. Friendly, energetic and able to work well with others. Requirements · Strong command of the English language (required) . Can communicate in different language(s) (Recommended) · Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills (required) · Experience with Kroll software (recommended) · Recent pharmacy experience (recommended) · compounding experience or interest in compounding (Recommended) · familiar with brand and generic drug names · very comfortable using pharmacy SIG's (example: BID, TID, PRN, etc.) Responsibilities & purpose of this job · accurately input prescription information, fill and dispense medications, cashing out patients/customers · dealing with insurance companies · communicating with doctors and other medical staff · helping and communicating with patients/customers for their prescription and OTC needs · filing documentation and record maintenance · ordering and receiving prescription and OTC stock · compliance packaging · basic computer skills such as word, Excel processing · maintenance, organization, and any other pharmacy and pharmacist supportive functions · ensuring orderly pharmacy work environment please include your LINKEDIN profile link Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: * Company events * On-site parking * Store discount Application question(s): * provide your LINKEDIN profile link * Do you carry legal status ..i.e. work permit,Canadian citizen or PR ? * Do you live in Woodstock ?
