Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Rural area. Willing to relocate. Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Help pharmacists. Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Maintain prescription records . Prepare medications for clients. Set up and dismantle equipment. Clean and maintain equipment. Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation. Collect statistics. Maintain supplies. Perform general clerical duties. Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervision: 3-4 people. Computer and technology knowledge: Kroll Software. MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Windows.
