In addition, the group supports operational teams' efforts to remediate assets and applications by understanding the data, data symptomology and operational procedures. The team produces dashboards under well-defined service level agreements with the stakeholders, striving to be a valuable business partner to operations.The RoleThe Senior Manager will lead the operational team in ongoing steady state production, lead the sourcing and ingestion of subject matter expertise to understand the environment, and continually improve and evolve the programs as the bank, the tooling, the telemetry and the focus changes over time. The Senior Manager will direct a team of developers to maintain steady state operations and take the programs to the next level with Power BI, Python, automation of data sources and multiple views of the environments.Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:Be part of a dynamic team in the increasingly important field of data management, aggregation, mining and messaging.Understand the challenges around ETL processes and the disparity that exists between disparate data sources.Appreciate and succeed in a controlled DevOps environment and closely governed and regulated program.Be passionate about data and what they mean, what can be gleaned and what cannot be inferred.Understand IT operations and communicate in an effective manner with IT professionals from mainframe computing to workstations, servers, printers and cameras.Be a team player, yet able to work alone.Be a self starter, a problem solver, curious with the ability to think at a high level and investigate the details when necessary.Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:Advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills.7+ years of hands-on technical experience developing and extending both off the shelf and custom inhouse developed applications3+ years of experience managing, coaching and training developers and applications support personnel in an IT operational capacityEffective project planning and time management skills to ensure multiple tasks and project streams are delivered on timeThe ability to generate reports and tailor communication strategies for various levels of technical staff, executive management, and business clients.Experience in requirement gathering from the business and prepare the Requirement documents (BRD) for the technical team.Experience within an Agile development environment.Experience in testing and validating any Business Intelligence and associated applications preferably built using Microsoft stack ? Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, etc.,Experience in Change management process with CI/CD tools ? Azure DevOps is preferred.Knowledge in Data warehousing concepts is preferred.What's in it for you?
