Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Tasks: Administer bedside and personal care. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk. Feed or assist in feeding. Launder clothing and household linens. Mend clothing and linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Provide personal care. Shop for food and household supplies. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Cook. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Health Care Aide Certificate. Personal Support Worker Certificate. Target audience: Adults. Females. Males. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Basic security clearance. Reference required. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads.
