Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: School or educational institution/establishment. Tasks: Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes. Prepare written material such as reports, briefs, website content. Produce educational and publicity programs and informational materials to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter. Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions. Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys. Gather, research and prepare communications material. Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions. Conduct analytical marketing studies. Develop marketing strategies. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines. Fast-paced environment. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Supports for visible minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities. Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).
