Our team consists of skilled professionals who are committed to safety, customer satisfaction, and technical excellence. *Service Technician Role* This position is based in Saskatoon, SK, and reports directly to the Service Manager of Air Excellence. The ideal candidate is a Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic or a Plumber with air conditioning service experience. This role focuses on service and maintenance work for commercial and multi-family properties. The Service Technician will work closely with the Service Manager and Business Development team to ensure seamless service operations and maintain strong client relationships. *Key Responsibilities* · Perform service and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems in commercial and multi-family buildings · Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing systems · Install and retrofit HVAC and plumbing equipment as per specifications, customer needs, and applicable codes · Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment · Complete required documentation, including service reports, logs, and records, using Jobber or other service management tools · Communicate with clients professionally, providing recommendations and ensuring customer satisfaction · Participate in on-call rotations as required · Collaborate with the Service Manager and Business Development team to identify opportunities for additional services and maintenance agreements *Why Join Air Excellence?* · *Career Growth:* Opportunities for advancement, including leadership roles such as Project Manager or supervision. · *Work-Life Balance:* Monday-Friday schedule with limited on-call requirements · *Supportive Team Culture:* Regular team events and a positive work environment where your contributions are valued · *Training & Development:* Ongoing professional development, including technical training and mentorship from experienced professionals *Skills and Qualifications* · Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic or Journeyperson Plumber with AC service experience · Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration systems · Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including electrical troubleshooting · Ability to read and interpret blueprints · Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills · Safety-focused mindset with attention to detail · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Valid Class 5 driver?s license with a clean driving record · Gas Fitter Certification is an asset · Familiarity with service management software like Jobber is an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $100,000.00-$135,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Commission pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company car * Company events * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-04-01
