This role involves the opening and closing of heritage sites, which will require travel outside of Fredericton and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities may include cataloguing and inventorying heritage and archaeological collections, supporting and updating databases, conducting archival research, digitizing documents, and supporting the delivery of Archaeology and Heritage Branch programs. This role offers an opportunity for skills development with career-focused trainings, self-development workshops, and personalized mentorship. Qualifications:Language requirement: English or Bilingual Enrolled in post-secondary institution: fields of archaeology, anthropology, history, museum studiesSkills/Highlights: Experience in research, data entry, and report writing, with a background in archaeology, museums, or built heritage.
