*Job Title: Banquet Server* *Job Summary:* As a Banquet Server, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of various events and functions held within our establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional service to guests during banquets, weddings, conferences, and other special occasions. You will work closely with the banquet team to set up, serve, and dismantle event spaces, while adhering to high standards of professionalism and hospitality. You do not have to be 18 years old for this postion. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Setup and Preparation:* * Assist in the setup of banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations. * Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are properly stocked and in working order. * *Service Delivery:* * Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their assigned tables. * Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, following established service standards. * Attend to guests' needs throughout the event, including refilling drinks, clearing plates, and providing assistance as required. * Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, adhering to uniform and grooming standards. * *Communication and Coordination:* * Work collaboratively with the banquet team, including servers, bartenders, chefs, and event planners, to ensure seamless execution of events. * Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate service timing and address any issues or special requests from guests. * *Safety and Compliance:* * Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for guests and staff. * Handle food and beverages with care, following proper handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety. * *Cleanup and Breakdown:* * Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of banquet rooms after events, including clearing tables, folding linens, and returning equipment to designated storage areas. * Dispose of waste and leftover food in accordance with established procedures. *Qualifications:* * Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required; training will be provided. * Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods. * Lift and carry heavy trays, equipment, and supplies as required. * Bend, stoop, and reach overhead to perform various tasks. *Note:* This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not exhaustive.
