*Purpose:* Responsible for the effective management of an assigned group of drivers, and fleet of trucks. *Responsibilities:* * Follow and respect the steps of the merchandise tracking protocol. * Planning, monitoring and executing dispatch of FTL & LTL customer loads. * Managing lanes, assets and space to ensure maximization of revenues and optimization of equipment. * Scheduling appointments and tracking trucks daily to ensure on time pick-ups and deliveries. * Coordinating deliveries with drivers and customers. * Providing regular and proactive customer service to all clients to maintain relationships. * Communicating with drivers regularly to maintain engagement, provide encouragement and support them with issues while delivering loads.
