Tasks: Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Cut materials using power tools or by hand. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Specialization or experience: Custom sheet metal items. Decorative metal sheets. Eavestroughing and flashing. Sheeting and cladding. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Vehicle supplied by employer. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Overtime required. Tight deadlines.
