And we live it too.</span></p> <p> </p><strong>THE ROLE</strong><p><span>Imagine the excitement and ability to show off your incredible skills in a deployed environment (overseas) for six months evaluating and managing the operations and delivery of morale and welfare programs to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and partner nations. As a deployed Manager, Morale and Welfare Operations, you are enhancing the overall morale and welfare of all the troops deployed.</span></p> <p><span>The Manager, Morale and Welfare Operations is part of an enthusiastic team of adventurous individuals who enjoy meaningful employment and contributing in a team-based, land based environment. Excited by the opportunity to deploy as a civilian among our CAF personnel abroad, you are a team player in a fast-paced setting. You are able to adapt to new challenges in an ever-changing dynamic environment.</span></p> <p><span>You will have the opportunity to plan, coordinate, and manage a variety of business lines, such as retail, fitness, recreation, sports, travel, and barbering. You will utilize previous managerial experience, coupled with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to provide the highest level of service to Canadian and/or partner nation clientele.</span></p> <p><span>In addition, you will assist with recreational activities and events. Keeping the military energized ensures they are mentally and physically ready to sustain the difficulties of military operations, and live healthy, balanced lives.</span></p> <p><span>This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity that does not come along often!</span></p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED</strong><p><span><strong><span>Education, Certifications and Licenses</span></strong><span> </span></span></p> <p><span>College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Sports Administration, Recreation Management, or a related field</span></p> <p><span>Canadian citizenship</span></p> <p><span>Must have a valid Canadian passport</span></p> <p><span>Valid Canadian driver?s license (Class G or Class 5)</span></p> <p><span><strong><span>Experience</span></strong><span> </span></span></p> <p><span>In planning, coordinating and managing multi-business operations</span></p> <p><span>In applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation</span></p> <p><span>In preparing and administering tournaments, sporting and recreation events</span></p> <p><span>In officiating sporting events and/or athletic competitions</span></p> <p><span>In managing facilities</span></p> <p><span>In budget administration</span></p> <p><span>In personnel administration</span></p> <p><span>In planning, coordinating and evaluating the operations of establishments engaged in retail sales</span></p> <p><span>In loss prevention</span></p> <p><span>In planning, coordinating, managing and evaluating the operations and delivery of travel programs</span></p> <p><span><strong><span>Competencies</span></strong><span> </span></span></p> <p><span><span>Client </span><span>focus, </span><span>organizational </span><span>knowledge, </span><span>communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.</span><span> </span></span></p> <p><strong><span><span>Additional Qualifications Prior to Deployment</span></span></strong></p> <p><span>Completion of a health, dental and psychosocial assessment</span></p> <p><span>Security screening</span></p> <p><span>Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications</span></p> <p><span>Ability to
