*About Us:* Young Champs Soccer Academy is dedicated to providing quality soccer coaching programs for kids aged between 3-14 years. We collaborate with different childcare centers, tailoring our programs to suit the needs of each age group. As part of our commitment to excellence, we also offer our academy programs. We are expanding our team and seeking a passionate and experienced Soccer Coach to join us. *Position: *Soccer Coach *Location:* Surrey, BC *Education:* At least have Secondary (high) school graduation certificate *Qualifications:* Candidates that have completed coaching licenses and courses will be given preference. *Compensation:* $20-$30/hour, based on experience, qualification, and expertise. *Responsibilities:* An ideal candidate will be required to: * Assist the Director of Programs in planning and delivering engaging soccer coaching sessions for kids aged 3-14 years. * Provide instruction and guidance to participants during training sessions, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. * Work independently as needed to facilitate sessions and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. * Help create a positive and inclusive environment where kids can learn and grow through soccer. * Collaborate with the Director of Programs to develop age-appropriate training drills, games, and activities. * Follow the instructions and session plan as provided. Must be able to devise the session plans when needed. * Assist with administrative tasks related to program coordination, such as attendance tracking and equipment (soccer balls, cones, etc.) management. * Setup and conduct the session smoothly. *Requirements:* * Minimum of 1 year of experience coaching soccer to different age groups. * Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and coaching techniques suitable for different age groups. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young participants. * Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children, fostering their love for soccer and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the Program Director to ensure program success. * Schedule: Part-time position, flexible hours based on program scheduling and availability. Sessions typically conducted during weekday mornings, afternoons, and evenings. * To be able to commute to different locations, must have a car and a valid driver's license. *How to Apply:* If you're passionate about soccer and love working with children, we'd love to hear from you!
