We strive to have employees that are multi-faceted and versatile with a variety of skills.GEMTEC currently has one opening for a Civil Construction Inspector for a project in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, reporting to our Halifax office location. The successful candidate will have experience in general construction activities, materials testing, and inspection services.Educational & Experience Requirements:Experience working in heavy civil construction.Experience reviewing project drawings and specifications.Experience documenting as-built conditions and construction site activities.College level diploma and/or university degree is considered an asset.Main Duties:Field inspection services and associated documentation for GEMTEC on PSPC marine projects (wharf construction, dredging, breakwaters, and other heavy civil marine projects).Performing other related duties as required.Following all company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.Position:Contract starting January 2025 (estimated 5-month duration).Must have a valid driver's license.Interested individuals should apply here: https://gemtec.bamboohr.com/careers/178Thank you for taking the time to consider GEMTEC.
