*Company Overview* Carbide Tool Works is looking for a Tool Grinder Position or Saw Filer. Carbide Tool Works has been in operation since 1964 producing high technology cutting tools for the industrial market. We are looking to add a dynamic skilled individual to our team that loves producing high tolerance tools and saw blades. The individual will join our production team producing high quality cutting tools. The best candidate for this job will be an experienced individual from one of the following fields: Tool Maker Saw Filer Tool and Die Maker Manual Machinist Operation of Tool and Cutter Grinders and Saw Grinding Machines is the requirement of the position. Tool inspection and measurement is a key required skill. On the job training will be offered. Key duties and tasks New Tool Production Tool Sharpening Saw Production Saw Sharpening Use of grinding stones and other production methods Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Manual Grinding: 3 years (preferred) * Tool Production: 5 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * work permit (required) Work Location: In person- LocationBurnaby, BC
