Air Borealis is currently seekinga Cargo Agent to join our team in Goose Bay, NL. Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure adherence to Transport Canada RegulationsRespond to cargo inquiriesProvide to cargo inquiriesProvide freight quotesAccept small freight, issuing waybills and handling cargoProvide internal and external customer supportManage cargo supplies and inventoryProcess cargo for shipping based on customer needsPerform general office duties as requiredOperate forkliftOperate delivery vanOther duties as assignedQualifications:The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in providing customer service in a fast-paced environment;Must possess exceptional customer service skills;Must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent problem solving skills as this position requires on the spot decision making; Must be able to work independently and in a team environment;Must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct.Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.What we offer:Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceDefined Contribution Pension PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPersonal travel privileges with PAL and interline agreements with multiple airlinesEmployee Tuition Assistance ProgramEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramsApplications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.Air Borealis is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment that celebrates and encourages diversity, equity, and inclusion whereby individuals are recognized, supported, and respected.
