As a Baker, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of taste and presentation. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. * Decorate cakes and other desserts to enhance their visual appeal. * Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and texture. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. * Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they are presented attractively. * Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient supplies and placing orders as necessary. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries about baked goods. * Collaborate with team members to create new recipes and improve existing offerings. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a restaurant or bakery setting. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. * Proficiency in cake decorating and an eye for detail in presentation. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * A passion for baking and creating delicious products that satisfy customer preferences. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
