We provide our customers with a complete range of mining ventilation products that customized to their needs. We are looking for a *Senior Accountant* who is eager and energetic individual for a position within our company. We offer a very social team environment with many opportunities for advancement within "_*The Hurley Group"*_ of companies including a comprehensive benefit package. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. * Conduct thorough financial auditing to ensure the integrity of financial data. * Perform account analysis and reconciliation to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. * Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. * Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and ensure timely filing. * Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation. * Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the department. * Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on best practices in financial management. *Experience* * A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification is required. * Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role within the financial services industry. * Strong knowledge of financial auditing, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes. * Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage is essential. * Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines. * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members across departments.
