To maintain our commitment to operational excellence, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to oversee our financial processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. *Position Overview:* The Pharmacy Bookkeeper will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our pharmacy operations. This position requires expertise in financial management, familiarity with pharmacy-specific transactions, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. *Key Responsibilities:* * Record daily financial transactions, including prescription sales, OTC product sales, and insurance reimbursements. * Reconcile accounts receivable and payable, including third-party claims, co-pays, and reimbursements. * Manage payroll processes, including calculating commissions and processing deductions for pharmacy staff. * Track inventory costs, ensuring accurate accounting for medications, supplies, and over-the-counter products. * Conduct monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and financial audits. * Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow analyses, and balance sheets. * Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations governing pharmacy finances. * Collaborate with pharmacy management to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections. * Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits. *Qualifications:* * Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with a preference for candidates with pharmacy or healthcare industry experience. * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and pharmacy management systems. * Strong understanding of pharmacy financial operations, including third-party billing and inventory management. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. * Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with integrity. * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. * Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., CPB, AAT) is an advantage. *What We Offer:* * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * A collaborative and supportive work environment. * Flexible work arrangements, where applicable. * [Other unique benefits, e.g., "Employee discount programs," "Health and wellness initiatives"]. *How to Apply:* If you have the skills, experience, and passion for maintaining financial excellence in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, we invite you to apply.
