We are seeking a responsible, pleasant, and outgoing individual to join our growing ophthalmology practice as an Ophthalmic Technician in Charlottetown, PE. This is a Part-Time position, with required work days being Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The ideal candidate will be personable and dedicated to quality patient care. The primary task will be assisting patients with Visual Field tests. Duties: * Greet patients and set up examination rooms with appropriate clean between patient visits, * Perform wide variety of ophthalmic testing and administer drops as required, * Keeping testing rooms and work areas clean and tidy, * Maintaining confidentiality, privacy and use discretion at all times. Qualifications: * Good computer skills, * Ability to work independently alongside other ophthalmic technicians and as a team, * Excellent command of written/spoken English with additional languages an asset. Requirements: No specific requirements but the following would be considered an asset. * Experience working as an ophthalmic technician or related role, * Previous experience in health care. Working Conditions: * 24 hours a week, * Required on site, * Ability to work under fast paced conditions, * On site parking, * $21 per hour Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2025-01-10- LocationCharlottetown, PE
