*Position Description*
This role is pivotal in driving the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information while supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. The Controller will oversee key financial processes, including financial reporting, compliance, and accounting controls, while collaborating with operations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
*Position Responsibilities*
* Lead the annual budgeting process for their region.
* Assist with the annual financial audit.
* Create, prepare, and present month end financial reporting.
* Create, prepare, and maintain monthly compliance reporting.
* Prepare forecasts, identify variances & develop corrective actions.
* Maintain the integrity and timeliness of the underlying accounting records.
* Liaison with Operations and analyze financial results to find improvements.
* Perform required reconciliations and prepare corresponding documentation for approval and processing.
* Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and accounting controls for their region.
* Ensure positive continuous improvement to the accounting and reporting function and associated processes.
* Ensure that financial and accounting policies and programs are followed in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
* Other duties and projects may be assigned.
*Qualifications*
* 5 ? 10 years? experience in financial reporting and analysis.
* University or College Degree.
* Preference will be given to candidates with their CPA designation.
* Experience with accounting software. Sage 50 and Sage 300 preferred.
* Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions.
* Flexibility and willingness to work simultaneously on a wide range of tasks and projects.
* Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with coworkers.
* Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
