Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Assist health care practitioners during examinations or treatments . Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition. Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions. Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment. Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice. Provide nursing care. Provide supportive counselling and life skills programming. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results. Establish group and personalized care plans working as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
