*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the needs of both pets and their owners. *Duties* * Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling of various breeds of dogs and cats. * Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments. * Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets? grooming needs and any special considerations. * Handle pets safely and compassionately during the grooming process, including managing any behavioral issues that may arise. * Keep accurate records of services performed and any special notes regarding each pet's health or behavior. * Assist in heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets as needed. *Skills* * Strong customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and ensure satisfaction with grooming services. * Ability to perform heavy lifting, particularly when handling larger animals or equipment. * Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of grooming are met consistently. * Patience and compassion for animals, with the ability to manage stress in high-energy environments. * Knowledge of various dog and cat breeds, including specific grooming requirements for each breed is preferred but not required. * Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
