<p><em><span>Premier Aviation is a leading full-service provider of airframe heavy maintenance. We are certified to maintain various aircraft types, including, but not limited to: ATR, DeHavilland, and Embraer.</span></em></p><p><strong><span>Salary progression based on the E-licensing process (Transport Canada Certificate of Compliance and Exams). </span></strong><strong>Salary up to $28/hour.</strong></p><p><strong><span> <br></span></strong></p><p><strong><span>JOB DESCRIPTION</span></strong></p><p><span>The<strong> Avionics Technician - Apprentice </strong>installs, adjusts and repairs aircraft systems and equipment.</span></p><p><span> <br></span></p><p><strong><span>TASKS</span></strong></p><ul><li><span>Troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems;</span></li><li><span>Adjust, repair and overhaul aircraft electrical systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures;</span></li><li><span>Perform and report on routine maintenance;</span></li><li><span>Identify and place material orders in accordance with company policies;</span></li><li><span>Sign all forms or work files applicable to his/her work;</span></li><li><span>Attend staff training and instruction;</span></li><li><span>Inform Quality Assurance Supervisor of irregularities on maintenance work tasks.</span></li></ul><p><strong><span> <br></span></strong></p><p><strong><span>DESIRED SKILLS</span></strong></p><ul><li><span>Recognized diploma in avionics or another accredited course;</span></li><li><span>Relevant experience in the field.</span></li></ul><br><p><span> </span></p><p><strong><span>DESIRED ABILITIES</span></strong></p><ul><li><span>Sense of organization and priorities;</span></li><li><span>Excellent judgment and initiative;</span></li><li><span>Alertness and attention to detail;</span></li><li><span>Team spirit.</span></li></ul><p><strong><span> <br></span></strong></p><p><strong><span>THE BENEFITS OF WORKING AT PREMIER AVIATION</span></strong></p><ul><li><span>Minimum 3 vacation weeks;</span></li><li><span>Insurance (medical and dental, life, travel, short/long-term disability);</span></li><li><span>Up to $300/year for other specialties and $210/year for sports activities;</span></li><li><span>Access to a corporate box at the Centre Vidéotron;</span></li><li><span>Paid leave on your birthday;</span></li><li><span>Telemedicine and Employee Assistance Program (EAP);</span></li><li><span>RRSP/DPSP (high employer contribution);</span></li><li><span>Free parking;</span></li><li><span>Regular activities organized by the social club.</span></li></ul>- LocationQuébec, QC
