Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Accept payment or invoices for items delivered. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Load and unload goods. Follow directions and read map. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.- LocationWhitehorse, YT
