We value the diversity of the people we hire and serve. A position has become available for a Logistics Coordinator position for the Tenold Group. This position is based in person in Abbotsford, BC. Only candidates based in British Columbia and with a legal Canadian work permit will be considered for this role. *Position Overview:* The position of the logistics coordinator is to source carrier for freight. Another is to source freight for Tenold units. As well as assist in sourcing new business for Tenold. *Responsibilities:* * Source daily carrier options for freight movements * Negotiate short-term and long-term programs with outside carrier partners * Provide logistical solutions for all customers * Carrier qualification and performance monitoring * Other duties as required *Requirements:* *3-5 years of freight forwarding/brokering experience* *Knowledge of Canadian and US Hours of Service regulations* * Knowledge of cargo securement regulations * Knowledge of weight and dimension regulations * Previous logistics experience with 3rd party provider or trucking company * Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs * Knowledge of Truckmate * Good computer and telephone skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * Profit sharing * Vision care * Wellness program Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Freight Brokering/Fowarding: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person
