Cleaner / Packer Supervisor (Contents Supervisor)* At On Side, Cleaner Packers, also known as Contents Technicians show up every day with a can-do attitude and desire to help. This team does vital work helping clients save precious possessions and memories with empathy, compassion, and hard work. When disaster strikes, Contents Technician teams are deployed to restore order out of chaos and clean up the aftermath. Working on site and in the On Side warehouse means no day or disaster is ever the same. The Supervisor on this team reports to the Operations and/or Content Manager and helps with the day-to-day direction of the team. Leading communications with Project Managers, Adjusters and trades communication skills are a necessary requirement of the job. *The Contents Supervisor is responsible for:* * Leading and providing direction to the team * Training Contents Technicians in proper policies and procedures * Communicating with cross-functional teams and clients * Collaborating with internal and external team members to efficiently complete projects within budget, addressing scope issues through in-field reviews to maximize profitability of project * Working with customers to restore personal and commercial items to pre-disaster state * Assisting contents/operations managers in performance evaluations and development of field staff * Managing project documentation, including inventory * Assist with hands-on expertise to reduce additional trips to site/cost *What you bring: * * Technical skills: expertise in property damage assessment, restoration techniques, and construction industry knowledge * Technology competency * Commitment to corporate citizenship, social responsibility, and values * You love people and have great communication skills * An optimistic outlook and a real desire to help * Exceptional organizational skills * Physically fit (ability to lift, carry and pack boxes) and willingness to follow all company safety requirements * Valid driver?s licence & clean drivers abstract * Clean criminal record Past industry experience that can translate into success in this job: Contents Technician, Content Lead, Content Manager. *Other stuff that?ll help you be successful:* * You genuinely enjoy working with people in a team environment * Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal *Of Note* Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement (only if it is all hands-on-deck) *What?s in it for you?* We?re an established company in a growing industry and we need awesome people!
