As part of the Colbourne Automotive Group, our vision is simple: to be unwavering in our commitment to customer satisfaction, to treat every customer like they're family and to offer fair, competitive pricing.Job Description:Reporting to the General Manager of Colbourne Auto, the Service Manager will:Guide and direct the activities of servicing/repair staff to ensure optimal productivity and efficiencyOversee the recruiting, orienting, and training of automotive service technicians to ensure quality control and customer satisfactionOversight responsibility for department financials, customer service and employee satisfactionEffective process and workflow management tracking as per manufacturer policy and procedureEffectively interact with clients to identify their requirements and facilitate processes to meet customers' needsAssist Service Advisors at the service counter during busy times as requiredProvide accurate information for the warranty claim processReview time and attendance process to reduce idle time and ensure data accuracyCommunicate with all teams in a timely manner and assist on any sales, service and parts needsConduct team meetings on a regular basisOversee the Customer Satisfaction Index process and respond to customer concerns as requiredEnsure compliance with health/safety regulations and oversee the safety committeeBuild and maintain positive work relationships with customers, staff and key stakeholders/partnersPresent reports to the General Manager and Fixed Operations Manager as requiredRequirements and SkillsBachelor's degree in business administration, automotive service management, or a related disciplineSupervisory responsibility experienceDemonstrated leadership abilityStrong collaboration, teamwork and communication skillsCustomer service experienceComputer skillsConflict resolution experience and problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-taskCompletion of Chrysler service manager training certificationSafety certification or willingness to completeInterested applicants should submit their resume and cover letter no later than Monday, January 15th to Brad Jacobs at bradjacobs@colbourneauto.ca.
