*Job Overview*
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing the administrative functions of the front desk. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of dental terminology and office procedures.
*Responsibilities*
* Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
* Schedule and confirm appointments.
* Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and providing information about services.
* Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
* Process patient payments and manage insurance claims effectively.
* Assist in managing office supplies and maintaining a clean, organized front desk area.
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
* Stay updated on dental terminology and office protocols to provide accurate information to patients.
*Experience*
* *MUST HAVE: at least 2 years of receptionist/front-desk experience at dental office(s) in Canada*
* OPTIONAL: HARP (or willing to get HARP), Level 1, Level 2 Dental Assistant certification.
* Strong understanding of dental terminology related to dentistry is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service are required.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is crucial.
