*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient transportation and product organization. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management, particularly in the horticultural sector. *Duties* * Coordinate and oversee the entire logistics process from order placement to delivery. * Analyze data to identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain. * Manage transportation management systems to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping solutions. * Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline shipping and receiving operations. * Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries. * Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking equipment maintenance related to logistics operations. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all logistics activities. * Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any logistical issues. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field is preferred. * Strong data analysis skills to interpret logistics metrics and drive process improvements. * Familiarity with supply chain concepts, and transportation management systems. * Experience operating forklifts is a plus; relevant certifications are advantageous. * Knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving procedures. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
