Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Sales Representative to join our team at a new nursery in Abbotsford, BC. This on-site role will focus on promoting and selling a wide variety of plants?including trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals?as well as gardening products and services to individual and business clients. The position involves customer engagement, order management, and coordinating delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities: ? Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty. ? Promote and sell a diverse range of plants and gardening products to individual and business clients. ? Process customer orders and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment. ? Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies, including participating in trade shows and managing the company?s social media presence. ? Monitor market trends and customer needs, providing valuable insights for business development and strategic planning. ? Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Qualifications: ? Strong self-motivation, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic startup environment. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ? Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. ? Proficiency in multitasking, time management, and working independently to achieve sales goals. ? Basic computer skills; experience with POS systems is an asset. ? Familiarity with spreadsheet and word processing software. ? Knowledge of plants and gardening products?particularly those suitable for BC and surrounding regions?is preferred but can be learned on the job. ? High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Additional Information: ? Some driving may be required. ? The role involves outdoor work, particularly during peak seasons (March to July). ?
