*Summary*: The Pharmacy Assistant will be an active member of the pharmacy team in supporting pharmacy activities providing excellent patient care. *This position can be either part-time or full-time.* *Location: *378 John St, Thornhill, ON and 7181 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON *Responsibilities:* * Promote pharmacy service to clinic patients * Answer pharmacy related questions from patients and clinic staff * Process prescriptions (including: prescription order entry, 3rd party payor adjudication and troubleshooting, correct selection of generic medication, blister packaging etc.) * Support pharmacists and clinic team to deliver optimal patient care * Maintain inventory control and other administrative functions * Provide customer service in a pleasant and efficient manner *Requirements:* * Ability to speak Mandarin - Professional Working Proficiency required * Min of 1 year of Ontario community pharmacy experience preferred * Possession of a valid Ontario Driver's License and a car to deliver orders between clinic and pharmacy * Excellent communication skills * Willingness to learn *Why Enhanced Care might be right place for you:* * Nominated for 2012 York Regions' Character Organization Award * Winner of 2015 OPA's Collaborative Services Award * Ongoing career training and development Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $17.50-$22.15 per hour Expected hours: 24 ? 28 per week Schedule: * Day shift Application question(s): * How many years of Ontario community pharmacy experience do you have? * What level of proficiency is your Mandarin?
