*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to patients. *Responsibilities* - Conduct preliminary patient screenings - Perform diagnostic tests - Assist ophthalmologists with patient care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems - Dilation of patients - Prepare examination rooms and equipment for procedures *Educational Requirements* - Grade 12 education -Ophthalmic Assistance Certificate or equivalent experience -Accuro software experience is an asset -Strong written and verbal Communications -Attention Detailed and Accurate Record Keeping -Team oriented -Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment. On the job training will be provided and only suitable candidates will be called for interview. 6 month probation period applies and benefits become available once the probation period is over. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-01-06- LocationSaskatoon, SK
