In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the Ocean Freight functions and contributing to the development that align with the company?s mission and values.
*Qualifications*
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Ocean freight forwarding
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and freight procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Mandarin speaking is mandatory
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Partner with customers, vendors, and internal groups to build a solid working relationship
* Work with worldwide ocean shipments, including all geographies and multiple customers across the world
* Effective and efficient file shipment creation/activation including follow-up/transfer of control back to origin for necessary corrections
* Distribution of pick-up numbers, hold/examination notices, freight invoices and other ancillary charges, notices or invoices.
* Provide professional, prompt and efficient customer service to all clients
* Ensure files are completed and updated in accordance with corporate requirements
* Support and manage ongoing vendor and partner relationships
* Provide the proper documentation that is required for the alcoholic beverage industry
* Work diligently to ensure quotation deadlines and shipment requirements are met
* Monitor shipments and respond to inquiries from clients, in a timely manner
* Resolve client customer service issues promptly and professionally
* Partner with global offices as needed
* Other duties as assigned
