This is a multi-function role in a Business Centre. Reporting to the Ontario Business Maanger. We are looking for an employee who enjoys a fast paced environment with a desire to improve themselves and advance within the company. The incumbent will be a team player who demonstrates initiative and a positive professional attitude and manner. *TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Contacts current and prospective clients to identify their need for existing and/or new products * Responds to and processes incoming calls and orders * Opens new accounts and maintains existing customer base * Makes proactive outbound calls. * Maintains knowledge base on current products and learns about new products * Provides pricing quotations and follows-up on quotes * Provides basic technical support on products * Builds strong relationships for repeat opportunities * Ability to liaise with suppliers on project and non-stocking product opportunities *REQUIREMENTS:* * Post-Secondary education * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel * Previous Sales/Inside Sales experience in the Canadian Electrical Industry is required * Superior interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to develop long-term client relationship * A highly professional approach to business * Exceptional organization skills, ability to multitask and a keen eye for detail * Technically proficient to quickly learn and understand products * Ability to develop quotations & project bid packaging / pricing / presentations * Knowledge of electrical industry would be an asset * Willingness to work overtime as needed and a sense of team spirit ?What?s in it for you Voted Great Place to Work®, you can build an interesting and challenging career with possibility of advancement as well as continued personal and professional development.
