Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas. Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for germination. Direct greenhouse and nursery operations. Harvest seedlings. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Organize greenhouse and nursery operations. Seed cutting. Supervise staff in shoots positioning and seed cutting. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Control reported insect, disease and weed problems. Determine type and quantity of stock to grow. Develop marketing plans. Establish and maintain required environment. Establish work schedules. Hire, train and supervise staff. Maintain financial and personnel records. Order materials and stock. Provide product care and other information and service to customers.
