*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various hand tools and power tools. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. *Responsibilities* * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems according to local codes and regulations. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks. * Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic equipment. * Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. * Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues. * Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while working on job sites. *Experience* * Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and components. * Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. * Proficient in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. * Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. * A maintenance person background is a plus for additional versatility in job functions.
